Oil Hose Help
Hi:
I need to replace the two small hoses (#26 & #30) in the diagram below, as they were starting to leak. I removed them by cutting them out, but now I can't seem to get the replacements back on, especially the top hose! It's too long to slide far over one end and then onto the other. Even the bottom one would be difficult. See the attached picture. Any suggestions? Do I need to loosen or remove the oil tank?
Thanks,
Vin

I did mine a few year back, found if you lube the hoses with a bit of penetrating oil, they will slide on easier, slide one end on first, then pry/lever the other on with a screw driver. Your lower one does look pretty tight, can you loosen the pipe off a bit ??
Boil some water and throw the hose in there for a few minutes, then try again w/ the heated hose and ample lubrication.
On the bottom hose, just loosen the clamp on the fenderwell, move the pipe, slide the new hose onto the pipe a bit past its intended location, then realign w/ the tank side and slide the hose over to the tank side.

Done!
I used a combination of loosing the oil tank via parts #2 & #3, warming up the hoses, oil, and brute force. I did the other two short hoses at the thermostat as well, having them off allowed the tank to move a bit.
Thanks for the help!
