I have a set in mine. I'm whipping them out at the weekend so I'll weigh them with the subframes and let you know.

BTW, Gareth @ GSM Performance emailed me yesterday that the ClubSport XL was out of stock and that there were only a few Standard width left. These seats are made in China (hence the price) and they won't be back in stock until sometime in March.

Can you take some pics installed? I think we'd all love to see how they fit. When installing were there any issues or modifications needed? How is the clearance around the seats?

The stitching on that cloth cover looks like it was done by a 4 year old.

Yes, its not the best, but for the money they could be worse. I only want one for track days

my reply this morning:

The XL size ClubSports are out of stock at the moment, I have an expected dispatch date of the 25th Feb for this Order. The next batch of 500 seats is moving through production at the moment and is expected to be complete w/c 23rd Feb.

finally got a proper quote - total price shipped to Australia for two seats CS (xl) 632 pounds (948 USD)

Here are a couple of pics.

Weight all in per seat (including the harness) was around 10kg (on a set of cheap luggage scales).

These are the narrow versions.

I found that by swapping around the mounts, I could set the seats more to the centre of the car and this lines up much better with the steering wheel on RHD. They fitted easily.

I think they're fine but would say that with the rise in value of 964s over the last couple of years, if you can live with the cost of Recaros, it may be better to fit something that most buyers would see as an asset.

They look good, but this is a really bad idea, your seatbelt/harness should be anchored to the car not to the seat. This will rip right out in a crash.

The lower strap is mounted to the seat bracket (steel) and not the seat itself but I do appreciate that it's reliant on the runner staying in place and not a separate mounting point.

I wouldn't trust that thin metal bracket with my life.

Has anyone in the US bought these seats recently? Wondering who the best source is for shipping across the pond. Also, do you know if these fit OK in a G-series 911? Thanks.

I would stay away from Corbeau, the quality of their product is worst than bad, from seats to brackets. I would go with Sparco for slightly more.
