Love the show. I have my DVR recording the series all the time. I even enjoy the reruns.

Does anyone else think they should add in Ed's time when they tot up the total costs?
He usually states what it would cost to do certain jobs anyway...

I love a bit of WD, seen all the Porsche episodes several times, never gets old.

Yes, they should! I get the impression this was Mike Brewer's business model though from when he really used to trade cars. He would buy a car cheap fix it up and sell it on. Maybe if you own the workshop and don't have to pay full labour rates but just wages (and insurances, rates, etc) and do it on a big enough scale it works?!?! I would guess they didn't go to quite the lengths they do now though...!

He's probably the essence of a doggy car dealer!
A quick fix and out the door.

Have you watched it? Maybe some of the cosmetic stuff could be termed "quick fix", but the mechanical no way.

Sorry Stuart, in re-reading your statement, I think you may have been referring to a dealer referenced above your last post, not WD. If that's the case, I recant my statement.
