Just got my engine hardware back from the zinc plater
I'm really happy with the results and thought I'd give Jim at
http://www.yellowzincplating.com/ a plug for his awesome work. He's known over at Pelican, but I figured I'd introduce him over here. I have no affiliation, just a satisfied customer.

Shiny! Out of curiosity, how much did it set you back?

Sweet. I wish I would have taken the time to do all that.

I've sent many pounds of 993 hardware to Jim over the years - always pleased with the results and with his pricing.

Did you send them all rusty or were they relatively clean?

The oil pipe was a little rusty and a few of the bolts. Everything else was just greasy and had lost their coating.

I could be wrong, but I think they can only do ferrous metal.

That's going to look great when all put back together! Well worth doing when a rebuild is needed!
