Question Under the Hood White ID Label Codes

Using information in Adrian's 964 enthusiast's book, the type code 540 identifies my car as a California model, however, the country code C36 identifies it as built for Canada (circled in green). Hoping someone can explain?

Also, what do the codes circled in red mean? Does "KH" identify it as a built for Canada car?

From what I can find, type code 540 is California cabriolet. C36 is a Canadian delivered car.

Thanks Steen, Makes me wonder how many California cabs were built for the Canadian market?

The 4 numbers ending in 4587 is the shell number of that car. That number is stamped on various panels of the car to identify it as complete, all panels matching.

Thanks christallon, Then I'm guessing that the 3 numbers 160 prior to the shell number might identify the shell type. It looks like cabs are 160 and coupes are 150.

That I don't know, but that is a solid guess...
