Remote control central locking?
Ive a UK speck 1990 964 C4.
It has Porsche imoboliser and central locking.
I think its got an alarm as if I pop the bonnet then lock the car and then lift the bonnet the horn sounds.
What I want is to unlock the car remotely like I do my new Beetle.
Is there a kit that I can get that does this for me either Porsche or aftermarket?
The door handle is getting scratched!!! using the key!!
Thanks....

There is a cheaper solution to avoiding scratched door-handles, though - the lighted key-head

Martin,
You're car probably has the alarm that was fitted back in 1990, which is now 13 years old, and may not provide much protection from the modern car theif!
IMHO, you'd be better off getting a modern alarm, that has a remote switch as standard & there is plenty to choose from & don't need to be that expensive to have fitted.

Martin,
I had to upgrade as my insurer finally refused to cover me with the old factory job. Went for a Scorpion. Just make sure that the fitter has done MANY 964s before. Lots of tips and tricks on removing the old and fitting the new that if not followed could cause probs.
Cost - £400 cash in hand.
