Is this something that is pretty typical for a 25 y/o 964? It's driving me crazy. Both right and left lenses have that unseemly cracking. To replace runs around $250 each. Does that sound right?

 

Yes it seems to be the norm. I used Gus' film kit to cover mine and while it was great during day at night when lit the things looked Tiffany Style stained glass..

Was just a thread on here about the replacements available, dont risk the overpriced ones on fleabay, get the newer style (made in 2013) from Sunset or Sonnen Dealership(s)
