Classic LeMans caused major issues for me. Whilst wondering around the pits I just couldn't take my eyes off this car. Its been buzzing round my head since. It's ok, it IS still a porsche. I simply must own one of these at one point in my life. Beautiful 904s

Always loved the 904, stunning cars (I'm sure Ferrari did the Dino along similar lines after seeing it)

Oddly My brother sent me this pic this earlier today, which I believe is a modern evocation

The blue car is actually based on a Boxster, so has modern mechanicals. I remember another company doing more faithful replicas using a 6 cylinder air cooled motor a few years back. Not cheap though!

Seems to be quite a popular option for a relica, I googled and it threw up lots of options

Even if I had the time, space and money, I dont posess the ability to build one

Here's some 904 inspiration. Quite an awesome build.

Would certainly be a good one huh :-)

Start with just a bare chassis and body panels then take it from there.

Stop now!

Had a great weekend with a great bunch of guys!
Having wanted to do the Classic for many years and finally getting there, it was definitely worth it and I highly recommend it.

Thank you Andy for getting me there and to Frank for getting me to London.
I enjoyed the company of both of you and my wife says you must be great guys for putting up with me for several hours!
