The Speedster wasn't a good one, it drove rather badly/ crept sideways, had a rather hard life, was noisy, creaky, jerky, hood was a pain, those RS seats suck if you're over 200 pounds, two tone grey leather reminds me of German footwear choices in the 1980's, ride and scuttle shake terrible. I think many people forget why certain cars are so rare - many cars didn't sell because they were just plain terrible when they were new. This was one of very few tiptronics. No prizes for guessing why. If you have medical reasons for Tiptronic fine otherwise you should go stick Anyway I digress...

Am waiting for my new backdate Gulf Porsche 964 dials to arrive...will post them up if/ when they're finished. The rev counter lay out is still WIP

Here's mine, love my wheel, came with the car - seems to be the same wheel they put in the slant nose 930 Turbo... Anyone know more? It came with the car.

Looks very good. Did you do the stitching too?
Also, is that OMP WRC in CF?

Nice work. What material have you used?
I assume the dash is covered in two parts following the step contour? Is it stitched along that join or just butted up?

I used cheap alcantara but UV resistant on all pieces, and spray glued some thin foam on the doorside material, just to get some 3d effect, and yes the dash need to be in two pieces otherwise it wont work to cover or at least i didnt managed to do it with one piece, and i used a twin needle for the stitch

I had that exact wheel on my ROW 84 Carrera which had a blue interior and was a product of the wish department, everything was custom. I loved the wheel.

For the twin needles, did you also need a double bobbin and base plate as sewing machines are generally designed for a single needle?

Got this of Pelican, so its not a 964, but overall I just love how clean and simple everything is.
