Thanks for the pics bri! 964 kids....

Hello Dan

Yeah wheels are for sale, might be a tough sell as they are a little different than what you normally see on 964's. If they don't sell so I keep em. No bigs.... I do like the flags but I've purchased another set of mirrors already.

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Saw those wheels at Rotiform and they are absolutely gorgeous! Love the double step lip and raw finish! Gonna look great on your car!

Andy, what was the reason for dropping the engine and gearbox, just to clean them and the engine bay?

Car looks great by the way!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

We dropped it to fix oil leaks and vacuum leaks, new motor mounts clutch and RS flywheel valve adjustment and tune up.... Fresh cad plated hardware and yeah just pretty it up. The fan housing and VC's are getting ceramic painted. I didn't paint the intakes tho because I'm looking for a set of aluminum ones. All the engine tins are getting fresh black powder coat, etc... After this I'll tackle a new front bumper and maybe some other do dads.

I feel so good all that oil caked on there is now gone and it's getting some love. I feel like a better porsche owner now lol....

Thanks again for the good words

Nice work. Freshly cleaned parts FTW! Are those the Function First transmission mount inserts?

Dropping the motor is the way to go, just knock everything out at once. I should have done it at least once by now, instead I suffered working within the confines of the engine compartment, and man, these cars are not engineered to be worked on in that manner. It's a beatdown.

Yeah, I couldn't do any of this without the help of my main dudes. Much respect to those fellas.... Vandit, not sure what they are. The trans spent most the day in the parts washer the day we pulled it. My guess is they are stock mounts.
