Got a super fresh 180A Wosp alternator installed (manuf.date june '21) which should be good for an electronic ac if that becomes unavoidable.

Anyway this is about double the power of the regular alternator so that just seems a logical upgrade with the electronics I have in combination with the small lightweight battery.

I think they must have had them for years? I noticed them first when checking out the electric AC on the ClassicRetrofit website, they feature those as well.

Fits right in, comes with the right spacer for the 964.

Spotted you driving yesterday over by the Singel canal I think it was. So rare to see any 964 in the wild these days and I swore I was hearing the sound of a turbo. Of course I find your build thread here! Gorgeous car, you had lots of us gawking from the sidewalk. Cheers

How cool that you spotted me and then found me on here! Haha, great!
I would have offered to take you for a short ride if you were interested but I am sick at home with covid as of today...

Totally dig that you stuffed all that motor in without the need for a tail, and it’s a real cleanly engineered solution.

nice

I am very impressed with your determination to pursue your goals, I love passionate people. I know what I am saying, I built a 997tt in 2010 that looked like a gt3rs so it had no rear fender intakes and the motor generated 830 real EU horses measured at VGS Cologne at 1.15 bar boost at the top rpm. This car did 0-300 in low 20 sec. I also did vmax of 379kmh.
I spend 4 years on this project.

Update - Thomas informed me that he as removed twin-turbo 4 litre he engine & transmission from the 964 C2 & is in the process of transplanting them into a 993 shell which will have 964 turbo guards
added.

The car will run the 993 suspension set-up but the engine is being refreshed with a more modern ECU & turbos.

Exciting times!
