I'm going to try to get it trailer'd to nick next week hopefully. I was so impressed by Jack's engine I'd kick myself if i didn't say "one like that please". I like the relatively quick turnaround and "off the shelf" nature of redtek.

You'll get along with him like a house on fire - he's definitely of the same tribe.

Do start a thread, would be good to have your feedback since you make a perfect intermediary between Nick and us consumers.

Ps. Can't beat a good cup cam!

Bit of a laugh for you all, proof that even Doczilla eventually comes unstuck evenutally. Don't both telling me I know I have no idea what the right lines are around Castle Combe

Surprisingly light damage considering I basically drove through a pile of 12 tyres at 40mph; tweaked the bumper support and the nearside wing, the bumper skin itself is just a bit scuffed, all still drivable. Close shave though, I the car had met them another 6 inches to the left and the intercooler would have copped it and the tyres would have ripped through that and maybe the oil coolers and radiator behind.

hehe thanks Russ, it was a matter of a 12 inches either way between disaster and a good save - unfortunately I ended up splitting the difference

I was 10mph or so hotter out of Tower than the previous run, arrived offline thanks to some oil on the track, braked too late, didn't take enough curb on the entry, got sticky feet on the brakes, and allowed too much countersteer, erm yeah, what I believe they call "a catalog of errors" - or more succinctly a clusterf**k

Alex,

What happened to Hethel at the end of June

Is that no longer on the agenda?

Hethel is still on but it's a normal MLR sprint - so we'd be going along as "guests".

There are a limited number of spaces, but I suspect Darin may make space if a couple of us wanted to go along just to help build the profile of sprints on this forum - I know one of the R35s is doing it and I'm thinking about it if I can either a)get a new clutch fitted to the R32 in time or b)get the 964 run in had its 1st service in time.

Hethel is a great track.

Good day out at Snetterton (thank you again Jack) along with Alex

For those who were thinking about it but couldnt make any of the events you really need to do this next year. A decent 964 presence would be great

Nice and relaxed, lots of track time, and very well run

Enjoyed the Snetterton 100 layout a lot, really good for sprinting

Congratulations Gary for being the supreme undefeated champion of the uk rennlist 964 sprint series!

As Gary says, this is such great experience, takes track driving to another level without any additional hassle. If you were thinking of joining in and didn't quite get it together this year make sure you don't miss out next year!

Sadly my 964 was cursed this year and failed to make a single event, luckily the Datsun filled in capably. We hit a real sweet spot this afternoon - total car joy.
