Default 964 AIR BOX 3.2 SC ?

I need some advice I kinda impulsed bought a air box from a seller on evil bay
for my 964 so I can drill the cover and save my original. The seller listed it as 911/964 air box and in the description he wrote will fit SC 3.2 and 964.

Is this correct are the air filter boxes the same throughout these models?

I guess if I made a mistake I can always re list the item in the correct section people always want a unmolested box to revert to original or drill as in my case.

Right way to go about it at the right price ...

but I don't understand why you don't just compare the right hand side half - you don't need to remove the whole airbox - with the rhs bit of the one you bought - if they're not the same you have your answer.
But from my rudimentary knowledge of SC's the airbox and throttle body and different and in different places.

aahh good question all will be revealed when I actually get the item just bought it online few minutes ago. The pictures looked similar but the angle was not good. I did notice the rear had the same size cutout for the aiir flow sensor to plug bolt onto. I am hoping it is a 964 box rather then the others. I only paid £20 for it so price was OK.

I am just impatient so thought I will ask the question although you are correct I only require the outer cover. maybe if it is different I can make it fit some how lol ( I only want the drill holes version for the improved sound with out butchering my own box so I revert if needed.)

if you google 911 sc engine bay pics or goto their thread you'll see the SC box looks likes like a bloated sausage cooking onto of the engine - vast improvement in the '64 by tucking it away that is.

yes just did that so my air box that I just bought is gonna be a 3.2 or 964 one.

Hopefully the latter
