Dave's right, you can't tell if a car is good or not without seeing it.

That 993 does sound like it'd be worth checking out. That's about as cheap as they get for left-hookers.

But a cheap car might not be a good car. You rarely get true bargains in this game.

Cheers

Gentlemen,
I think this thread is getting nasty. I recommend that all parties agree to disagree and leave it at that. This thread is also going nowhere so maybe it is time for a halt.

Paul,
I can't quite understand what point you're trying to prove? We all bought our 964's because we wanted to. Whether it be RHD or LHD, a bargain or not, we all have our own specific reasons for what we bought and what we paid. We accredit our own value to such things. I paid about £3-4k more (at the time) for RHD drive and have never regretted it, so what, it's my money and I'll spend it how I like. I not interested in how you spend your money so I don't see why you are in the way I spend mine.
I'm sure we all read this board and post here because we like our 964's and probably bought them for more than just getting from A to B.
Who cares whether you sit on the LH or RH side.
It sounds like you bought a bargain and good luck to you, so why try and devalue the 964?
Talk the price up not down and you will have even more of a bargain.

Hi Richard, I havent meant my posts to have been in any way any criticism to any members here.I was just stating a point that good cars can be obtained for reasonable prices now days, people can own a great car for cheaper than they may think. It seems I have been attacked by members who have paid top dollar for their cars in the past and who think that owning a Porsche carries some sort of elitism,These people have to own up that the cars are available to many more buyers due to the price reductions of late.........As far as I,m concerned this debate is over.
