6 years later... a few updates, life happens fast!
We moved to Chicago for work in late 2014, so for the first winter the 964 stayed in LA again. I was able to get the charging issue sorted, and my buddy would drive it from time to time. Summer 2015 I bought some all season continentals, and the two of us drove it from LA-Las Vegas-Colorado-Chicago, fun trip. We had a baby, so got a Tiguan for daily duty, and the Porsche covered something like 600 miles over the 5 years it lived in Chicago. Then we moved back to the LA area in late 2019, and so the Porsche came home once again.
I did a decent detail during my quarantine, and it is currently at Everybodys Garage in Harbor City getting some work done - power steering rack rebuild, cracked oil lines replaced, rear axles, brakes, and a rebuilt starter.
Sunny days ahead everyone! Picture is in Rancho Palos Verdes.

All good, you still have the 964. Welcome back. And welcome back to year around driving, and turns!
Funny reading those old posts and seeing who’s still here.

The 986 S is an incredible car for the canyons or mountain roads. I had one I converted into a full on race car so my love for the 986 runs deep. Congratulations and many happy miles. That’s an incredible pair of fun P-cars you have there!
