I have just swapped out my 16" cup wheels on my 91 cab for a set of 993 Targa Speedline wheels, 7-17 on the from and 9-17 on the rear.
The tires are continental sport contact2 tires at 205-50-17 front and 255-40-17 rear. MY OEM wheels and car pressure stamp says 36 psi front and 44 psi rear.
What pressure do I run with the 17" wider tires?

It is interest to note that different tires require different pressures.
I have run several different tire brands over the years and has e used varied pressures from 28 lbs to 36 lbs. to check that you are running a good pressure use a pyrometer to check tire temp across the width - front and rear - you are looking for an even read. If inside is hotter - too mch pressure , if outsides are hot not enough.
There is a lot more to this , but these as basics should work.
You can grab a pyro for around $50 USD
