Default ANOTHER Brake Fluid Leak!

OMG...Another Brake Fluid Leak!..

Getting ready to pedal my C4 Cab to the shop tomorrow a.m. when I noticed a brake fluid leak just behind the wheel well, driver's side. Was getting to dusk when I noticed it on the driveway (AArrgh!) but I did crawl under to find where it came from, as I mentioned above.

Brake bleed and fluid flush is what I am going to the shop for...

Anyone here care to share what I might be in for with this brake fluid leak as I described? Any help before I go to the "gallows" tomorrow would be Greatly Appreciated!

Much Thanks and Best Regards,

Tony

Have you checked the fluid level? That might be where the reservoir overflow dumps out.

On my RHD car I had a 'leak' by the driver side, after a refill and subsequent track run. Turned out it was an overflow. Also turned out that my hydraulic pressure switch was shot so the pump was overdoing its job, contributing to the issue.

Vandit...Thank You for jumping in so quickly!

I have been topping the reservoir off quite full in thinking that "more is better".

Did not know that there was a brake fluid overflow...Will check that out forthwith.

Thanks Again, Brother!

Best Regards,

Tony

hi, I had this last week. Went with more is best and it seems to overflow pretty close to the front jacking point on the same side as the brake fluid tank.
