Default Seat bolts

Hi guys,

I'm reinstalling my seats and I had a few bolts that are stripped. These are Allen head bolts that affix the seats in place. I can't find them at the usual shops. I called pelican and the told me to just try napa.

Problem is, I can find replacement bolts, but the heads are too large to get into the track, or if the fit, the socket is too big to fit.

Any advice? Thanks!

Tried Fastenal? You might have to order them through their site.

Fastenal is where I recently found an exact match for my seat bolts- they had to order them so took a few days.

I've used regular 8mmx1.25 Allen head bolts from my local hardware store on my seats without problems. The only downside is the head is a bit taller so you can't move the seat forward or back until the bolts are fully tightened.

I got factory parts from Sunset; IIRC they weren't super outrageous.
