Default squealing AC belt

With a bit if searching here, I found a few hints on squealing sounds in the engine bay. Pinpointed the problem to the AC belt. Was fine before, now starting to squeal. Belt is in fine shape. Is there a belt dressing to stop the squeal or shall I just go and replace.

Try rubbing some soap (as in a bar of soap) on the underside of the belt.

Dressing is only a temporary fix. How old is the belt? If it's an aftermarket belt, you might want to try a Porsche belt.

Have you checked that the tension is correct? A loose belt will slip and squeal.

To Baba's post, the soap has shut it up for now nicely, THANKS!. Will monitor and see what happens over the next few miles. Hopeful for permanent solution but thinking a belt change is in order.

The soap thing was a trick passed to me, from a very famous engine builder
