Default Tire size - 265/40/18 + 225/40/18, C4

I'm looking at a set of Cayman S 18's to use as summer/Autox wheels.

fronts: 18 x 8 ET50 with 235/40 ZR18 Michelin PS2
rears: 18 x 10 ET47 with 265/40 ZR 18 michelin PS2

I believe the wheel sizes are fine, but am concerned on the tire sizes. The OD is about 5% different by my math (Front to rear), so barely within the allowable C4 limit of 6%.

Will these fit? I'm ok with rolling fenders and mildly flatting the oil line as necessary.
Suspension will be H&R Reds + Bilstein HD dampers, RS or slightly more agressive alignment.

Thanks!

Anyone? I found some references to people using similar size tires, but just wanted to confirm.

From TireRack's website

235/40/18 819 revolutions/mile
265/40/18 790 "
265/35/18 822 "

So the 265/35/18 seem a better match.

Oh, I understand and would certainly prefer to go with 35 series rears, but the wheels come with great PS2's of a taller than stock size. When the time comes to replace them, I'd go with the appropriate size. If the tires don't fit, the wheels lose their appeal.
