Default 911-50 Goodwood Charity track day PAYMENT Due 30th June

OK Guys after many months of planning three others and I have hired Goodwood Circuit for Saturday 5th OCT 2013 to do a charity track day and paddock meet

The details and track list are in 911UK link below

We are sponsoring the day for http://www.chestnut-tree-house.org.uk A childrens hospice that needs over £6000 a day in running costs ,This is a fantstic venue that gives respite to very sick kids and their families

The day will be run by Goodwood themselves with the usual marshalls and a senior instructor in place there is a 30 car maximum with a 105db limit split into 6 cars per session the price is £250 + a £50 donation to the charity

So a good day for novices as well as seasoned drivers on this historic old circuit

We are also having a huge paddock meet with we hope over 200 x 911s in attendance, this will be £20 per car and this will be covered by one of the 911 Magazines and some of 911UKs sponsors putting prizes in the pot ,we are hoping this will be a huge day

We are in the process of gaining permission to take the paddock meet cars at lunch time for a parade lap and photo shoot on the circuit

Apart from the circuit cost every £££££ will go to the hospice

Would be nice to see some 964s in action again ,be quick to commit as 20 spaces already gone

I would love a few more of the Spa attendees to sign up ,It is for a very good cause, also very rare to get a 30 car Max 911 only track day !, Little pressure as only 6 cars on track at any one time great for any one wanting to dip the toe in for the first time

FYI Guys

This is a private day , three others and I hired the circuit including paddock area and the Jackie Stuart rooms ,Goodwood will run the trackday for us I know the Circuit manager who helped get a good deal on the day, the cost of hire spit between the 30 cars and not a penny goes anywhere else ,all donations go to Childrens hospice which is the £50 per car = £1500

The key to raising lots of extra cash will be the 200+ 911 turning up for the show and shine @ £20 per car and we have a team of other 911Uk members taking care of that part of the day with we hope some trade stands and prizes donated by some sponsors

We are just getting the Trackday closed off first then the 30 will be contacted for payment

I'm in too - posted on the other forum so if you could add my name to the list. Bit worried about the noise test as its just as loud as Bigunit's.

Cheers
Simon

Just a heads up guys ,we need payment for the day by 30th June

Pop over to 911 UK and see the thread if you have not had an Email from (Orange Curry) John with the payment details

You can PM me if you have any questions

Thanks again for all the support for Cherrytree Childrens Hospice

For those not on the trackday remember we are attempting a huge 200+car 911-50 show and shine with some sponsors and prizes for just £20 per car on Saturday 5th October with ALL money collected going to the charity

I will start a new thread nearer the time for this

If any of our non UK buddies want to turn up that would be fantastic ,with or with out cars
