What's to bet Stevie Brooksy checked this out already before his own pole positions... sure he'll be along soon.

Yes they fit the 964 fine. There are several sizes IIRC. IMO they are more comfortable than pole positions and I prefer their design.

Seats are a very personal thing - I suggest trying a few back to back.

Seats and dimensions can be seen on this link http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/seats

As Frank said you really need to try them, some are very narrow. I could not get the headroom I wanted and abandoned the idea.

Surely these would give more headroom than standard sports seats with all their padding?

Not the case I'm afraid, though I thought much the same.
I am ok in either style without a helmet but with a helmet even an RS with the seat on its lowest setting is close, add in a sunroof as in my C2 and my head hits the roof.

FWIW the Furious was wider and more comfortable than the PP, the SPG comes in two sizes and have a higher bolster at thigh level so will hold you better but be a little more difficult to get in/out. Bottom line is try before you buy.

They work well, for me they could even be a little tighter (1,80m, 79 kg).

Cheers,
Holger

Jack, I'm 5 9" 162lbs. The standard SPG fit me like a glove. As mentioned, also had high side bolsters. I ended up selling them for the PP. My car see's double duty as a street/track car.The high bolsters of the SPG started to become a pain getting in and out. I also understand Recaro makes a large SPG which I have not tried. It is extremely important for you to sit in them if possible before purchase. Not only for the fit but to see where the shoulder harness holes align with your shoulders. You really don't want the harness straps exiting the seat below the tops of your shoulders.

Correct, for that reason I went for SPG XL.

Didn't try them because I heard they were too narrow unless you get the SPG-XL or are very slim like Frank

To narrow for long trips for me, I am 6 1" 76 kg, I have something in between a copy in carbon, cheaper , lighter and much easy to fit than the Recaros , I tilt the driver seat at the back by 15mm , so I get sucked in , it also gives more head room, you don't notice from the passenger as it has to be more forward...I personally don't like the advert on the headrest,
(Only necessarily for races under FIA rules and the seat must )
