Geert,

I'm sure that to many reading this, they know the answer, but can you tell me what the advantage is in having shortened GT2 rods?

Having a wider track, the GT2 rods are too long for NB 964.

Default Geert..

I like your posts so much... Why? Your white car shows everything so clearly. I wish there was a documented video on each facet of your rebuild. When I climb under my schwarz paint code L700 (black) 964, everything seems to disappear or blends together. It reminds me of one time taking my children to the zoo. There was a black leopard sitting in its darkened tree hollow... all you could see was its eyes. With your car, the contrast makes it easy for me to visualize what my car actually looks like and more importantly, how it is put together. Thanks for your write up. Keep up the good work..... And please post more often. Jack

This thread is dangerous. It's making me want to take my car apart and rebuild with such detail and craftsmanship.

Beautiful work!

Thx Jack, I really try to pick up the pace on posting pictures. Luckily coming 2 months I have more time to push on finishing the car.

A 2 hour drive NW.

Some more pics of getting the glass ready to go in.
All new rubbers, all freshly painted.
