Default Removing/deleting secondary exhaust bracket OK?

It's held on by two 13mm bolts around the power steering pump area.

Can I remove these bolts and delete the bracket or do these bolts play some other role in the assembly besides holding this now useless bracket in place?

My bracket is gone but, AFAIR, the bolts need to be re-installed as do play another role holding a power steering pulley in place or something.

Are you talking about the 2 8m/m x 75 bolts that go through the bracket then through a spacer, if that's the case, you can leave them out, all they hold is the bracket.

Bracket removed! Hopefully this doesn't cause me to fall out of favor w/ the custodial powers that be.

I reinstalled the top bolt w/ the spacer since it goes through the power steering belt drive box, and if not reinstalled, there will be a hole where debris could make its way into the belt drive box. On the lower bolt, i'll probably pick up a short M8 bolt the next time i'm at the hardware store to close up the unused hole.

Oh my Lord, think of the drop in resale value you've caused!
