Motronic DME external switches?
Looking at the wiring diagram shows two external connectors which give inputs to the DME. I believe they are located next to the DME under the seat.
My question is what do these two swiches actually do when they are used. Do they altering the fueling or ignition timing or both? One is marked as Map Alternation Switch and the second is marked Variant Identification Switch
