Where is the best place to put external temperature sensor
Here is my problem to solve
I bought a digital thermometer with display
Thermometer has a two-meter cable with external temperature sensor.
Where is the best place to put external temperature sensor.
I would like to put the sensor in the mirror
The location in the mirror is the factory solution but I have a problem because temperature sensor do not fit in the sleeve in the spring. The sensor is round 5mm x 40mm (0,2 x 1,6 inch)
Of course, I could cut the wires (then slip into the narrow spaces in the mirror housing) and then solder them. But I'm not sure thermometer then operate correctly.
