Default Data logging with scan tool

It has been mentioned that this is possible during a drive. How does it work?

I have never tried this myself, but I have included the latest software version of OBD plot in my scantool software download here.
Cheers,

I've made available the source code for the OBDPlot tool https://sites.google.com/site/bofinit/obdplot

(Scroll down to the section called "OBDPlot - Software for Plotting and Logging Engine Parameters in Real Time")

Hopefully this will be useful to someone. As I don't have my 911 anymore (sobs), I don't have any inclination to develop the code further, or a car to test it on.

Best,
Julian

Julian, thank you for sharing this with us.
I hope you will be able to get another 911 in the future.
Cheers,
Tore

I finally got the plot software to work when I ran it without first starting TT-OBD. Then whe I looked at the log, it was full of debug info. Now that I have read Julian's earlier post. I see you can turn that off. So now I am going to try again and build a spreadsheet so I can save the plot rather than a screenshot. I didn't detect any disconnect issues using the latest beta.

Now that I have read Julian's earlier post. that code may be ported from Windows to Linux/Android and even can be integrated with Harrys's laptimer. Wish you posted it few years earlier.

Oleg.
