993 Master Cly step down 12 to 10 mm needed
Ok - I have read in here somewhere that a step down fitting is available to allow you to keep your standard 10 mm brake fittings when you install a 993 master cylinder. Someone said that this magical little part is available from BMW - like it was a common item.
Have called several BMW dealers and it was as if I was speaking Greek in China. They had no idea what i was talking about.
DOES anyone know where I can obtain the 12 mm to 10 mm reducing sleeves for the 993 Master Cylinder.
HELP needed please ----------

Check this thread, appears 2 of these brake lines are needed.
https://rennlist.com/forums/964-foru...e-upgrade.html.
I'm doing this upgrade to my '90 C2...
-993 front calipers
-968 M003 front rotors. 993 sized but with cross drilling and offset for 964 hubs
-964RS-993 rear calipers
-964RS rear cross drilled rotors
-Front brake lines
-993 brake booster and m/c
But I haven't started yet, so I will know the complete requirements until I'm underway. But, Bill Verberg helped a lot. He knows all.

OK - Looked up the BMW part number 34326752405 - But it is a cross flow tube that appears to be 12 mm on one end and 10mmon the other - but both ends are male - see pic attached red outline.
I need a short line 12mm female on one end and then a 10mm female on the other or a thin walled sleeve that has a threaded OD of 12mm and a threaded ID of 10mm -
ANY IDEAS - ANY ONE ????????

Did you have the full brake line made from MC to the flexible line junction at the shock -
Or did you have a stub made - with a 12mm female on one end and a 10 mm male at the other?
Thanks for the idea -

Burning Brakes
I chose to replace the 2 brake lines that go to and from the master cylinder, and used fittings from Fedhill:

They may have what you are looking for.
Here is the thread describing what I did:

Good luck!

and sorry which is it: 12mm male on one end and a 10mm female or 12mm female and 10mm male?

I got mine from a big standard car spares place, they had ones than step up in size and they had 12mm fittings to suit the size pipe my car had. Obviously you need to re flare the brake pipes to fit but this is the best way to do it.

I got two new pipes when I bought my parts from a guy. He had bought two pipes from BMW which was good in length with 12 & 10 mm fittings. I just had to form them in the right shape. It was easy to replace the pipes.
I'll see if I can find the number.

Strange, I didn't have a pic of the pipes with the label left. I'm sure I took one since I took pictures of every step of this mod. Sorry. But it maybe the same pipes as mentioned above.
