Does anyone know if the rennspeed duck has the correct mounts for a non turbo/rsa? Also, a part number for the 80s grille? I couldn't find either of those answers through google.

Thanks

Got mine from Getty Design. Fit and finish are excellent - bolted right up, gaps look good, my body shop was happy. Highly recommended.

John McM sent the part number for the grille: 91155941101

Best price I saw right now in the US is $209 from ECS Tuning. You'll also need 6 T Bolts and the rest of the fasteners that you can see if you google that part number and find the diagrams...

They frequently show up on ebay. You should be able to use any grille from an SC or Carrera.

Really for $209 I'd rather have a brand new one. Especially considering the weathering my younger OEM grille has experienced.

Yes that's a good price. Suncoast has it for $199, but notes it is available in "limited quantities". I seem to recall these being more expensive (>$300), so under $200 is a bargain.

I was lucky to grab a mint used one on ebay with the t-bolts, spacers and other hardware for $150.

Do you by any chance have a link to theirs? I cant find anything for 964s on their site.

Thanks!

An alternative to the OEM grille is getting one from Al Kosmal from Pelican. I did this for my duck on my 993 and I think it looks better for a more modern look. You can see pics of it in this thread: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...ew-grille.html

Total price is less than OEM and includes all hardware. You can reach him at koz@x-faktory.com for details/pricing.

Sure do - under "Ducktail", it states "specify 911 or C2". Tell him you have a 964, and he'll provide a tail with the correct hinge mounting points. No adapters needed, it simply bolts right on.

Might I offer a great DIY for installing the decklid? Should offer you some great advise on what additional parts are needed and how long it should take. Check it out here.

If you install a rear spoiler on your car, the factory literature says that you must also install a front mounted spoiler to aerodynamically balance the car (Pelican Technical Article: Installation of a Chin Spoiler). Failure to do so may make the car handle poorly. Good luck with the install!

Rennspeed is $485, and Getty is $599. Does anyone know if there is enough difference in quality/fit/finish to spend the extra $$ for Getty?

Oh, and a big thank you to everyone who is sharing knowledge here!
