Pss9's or10's vs. KW?

I'm leaning to KW clubsport.

Comments on springs rates appreciated.

90% D.E. with occasional milk runs.

Thanks for your comments.

There's a big difference in your comparison. I'd expect someone to cross-shop PSS9 or PSS10s w/ the KW V3. The KW ClubSport is a much more aggressive setup than all of those, but, from the options you mentioned, it sounds like it would be right for you given your plan to run on the track so much.

Sorry, I was originally on a PSS/KW V3 route and recently rethought maybe the club sports would be the ticket.

Same grand prix white as mine BTW.

I'd ask this at

http://www.rennsportsystems.com/forum

Steve W has tons of good product/advice for suspension solutions. He can set you up with the right scenario .

I would go with KWV3's. KW Clubsport if the car is a dedicated track car.

Feedback seems to say that the PSS coil-overs tend to corrode rapidly.

I agree with Herr Bennett above, speak with Steve Weiner.

He's done this for a while. After listening to you, he'll have insight regarding your needs, desires, abilities and budget - at that point he'll make a suggestion dailed in to your individual case. This won't happen on an internet board.

Then you can purchase from him.

I can tell you we used PSS10s on my original build - which turned out within two days to be a 100% track car. During that first year, as we ultimately began to pass GT3s on track, at NO TIME did I feel that the suspension was holding me back.

WAHOO!!!

I run MCS on the little red race car; they would be sublime under a dual use car...

Did Steve utter his famous line "When I begin to hear certain things from you, we can talk about increased spring rate"?

Awesome! I came to the same conclusion. What did you decide to do about spring rates?

Ha, Erick. You know that will take Steve and Jello two or three more conversations!!!

p.s...this is the unspoken beauty of dealing with the guy one to one. Steve make no blanket recommendations, but relies on a wealth of experience as a builder, tuner, race engineer and driver himself.

He's still waiting for me to say those "certain things" before we change my spring package. Hell, I hold track records and he hasn't heard them yet...still wants more from me as a driver before we futz with the car.

Haha! And here I thought that I was the only one that he said that to...

It was a trick question... Hell, I'm still waiting for Steve to tell me what spring rates I've got on MY car. Guess that I need to call him a few more times.

No spring rates yet, we'll decide after I get the car weight to him and he quizes me a little. He's is very confidence inspiring, had me sold on them pretty easily. He had me at "you'll pick up 3-5 on a short course".

I'm sure it will cost me a little bit more than I was planning. Of course it always does with these kinds of things.

I'm thinking Motion Control on a 6-GT3 is probably pretty special.

Control provides improved confidence and that's an integral part of driver performance.

Yessir,....it certainly is
