Just for the sake of completeness ...

From OPC: The recall details is "Testing of the upper universal joint of the
steering shaft" and in your vehicle's (1990 C2) case the joint needs to be replaced
and the part No is 000 043 203 60

Hi my 964 1990 cab is going into the OPC re the steering recall..was no problem they are awaiting for the part for Porsche Germany and the work will be FOC (free of charge)amazing for a 24 year old car ....Old timer Philip Albert

Mine was done last year too after the first time I'd taken it to an OPC in 10 years!
