Default h&r antiroll bars, droplinks?

Been told fitting the h&rs will make a big improvment.
But will i need to upgrade the droplinks as well?
Will standard work fine, or rs ones?
Theres allso the posh metal adjustable ones?
Did a search but infos a little vague.

You don't need to change the drop links unless you find the joints are tired. I changed mine for that reason and put the RS ones on simply because they were designed for stiffer bars (and they're not much more in price). If your C2 ones are in good shape they'll still work though.

No need to change the droplinks as steve says, standard work just fine

Best mod I've made to my car overall

Only issue for anyone fitting to a C4 is that you can only run the front on the harder setting.

If you move it to the softer one, the droplink rubs on the driveshaft

Freedman & g60pops, what shock/spring set-up do you have matched with the H&R bars? Is your car used on the track?

964russ, sorry not trying to take off topic (drop links) but I am curious about these bars as well. Thanks, Jim

My car is running Bilstein + Eibach setup.
Maybe a little soft for track use, but perfect for fast english/welsh country roads.

Ive been told that the upgraded sway bars make a big difference.
I do push my car so iam thinkin they will be worth the cost. Fingers crossed.

Think ill try with the standard drop links.
If there worn out ill then consider rs or alloy type.

Goin to fit em myself, will the flash need a geo after fittin them?

KW v1 with new front top mounts, rears come with monoball top mounts, powerflex wishbone bushes and rs engine mounts. Nice and tight ride

Whiteline do universal droplinks, different lenghts ect.
Just over £100 a pair.
That price makes em very attractive.

not here.... I run the H&R sways soft/soft with H&R coils (quite low setting). No problems so far...

I replaces the rear links with a selfmade unibal solution:

it costs me round about 20€ + some beers for the welding...

Iam thinkin about the uni option.
My droplinks are very old and probably creamed.
Wot size will i need?
How long are the fronts? The rears?
The centre diameter? (10mm?).
Wana get em ordered in advance.
Thanks for the help.

This swaybar stuff is very confusing to me. Sorry 964russ not trying to derail, still on topic here,...
But looking at the 964 RS the front sway is 24mm and rear at 18mm, which is larger up front and smaller at the rear for a C2.
Now on the 993 the M030 upgrade appears to be on the opposite,..22mm front and 20mm rear.

Can someone explain why and how this should work in plain/simple words. I am not an engineer and this gives me headache,...

Also, whould changing just up front have positive effect or nothing at all? Does one have to change both together to see positive results?

Thanks
