Default Too cheep for 91 cab?

I just talk to an acquaintance and he thinks he might want to but my car. 91 cab C 2, signal-tan.
The facts:
128,000 miles
New motor with 5K, invoice over 12K
New clutch
New leather seats and trim
New carpet
New conti DW tires on chrome 16s
New bilsteins and HR springs
Newly changed to 134
Has had a respray, an 8+ of 10
and a lot of little things
has pump but no tool kit
very good top
some spotty records.
Clean car-fax

I bought the car 2 years ago to us as a summer driver but now I'm thinking a coupe so I can do some Crox. I told him I was thinking 22K. Am I leaving money on the table?

I'd say 'yes you are leaving money on the table", and also "good luck finding more money" - it's tough to sell a car with 128k on the odometer for more money - but then you have done so much work - the buyer would likely be more "one of us" that understand the value of the work done, and less, your avg new buyer of a 964 cab...

So - would I try to sell for more first? Yes. Is it a fair price given that you'd likely end up there anyway? Yeah, but I'd try for 25-26k before jumping into a sale unless you just want the car gone...

jmho..

This a very subjective thing and I don't wish to offend but to me that seems too expensive, not too cheap. If you can get it then all power to you.

Generally for a private sale I would say £22K is about top end for a very, very good C2 Coupe. Although the rebuild is good and the car seems well sorted I would have expected to see it marked at between £15-18k. Cabrios are not as sought after as coupes..
Ultimately these are just my perceptions on seeing cars for sale and not the ultimate word..
Good luck...

***ignore post*** thought this was in the Uk and you were talking in Pounds Sterling...
