Swapping steering wheel and hit a snag.
Thanks to the tutorials and help on this forum I was able to find enough info for swapping to a momo wheel.
Took off the steering wheel.
Took off contact plate and wrapped up the loose contacts to it.
Slightly sanding steering collar to fit the momo hub.
Now the problem, finding where to exactly plug the airbag delete/ bridge plug. From reading I assumed that it was going to be in the passenger footwell, and I almost ripped off a black box held by two nuts to which I thought it was going to plug into, but now I found this picture, is this where it is? Does that mean I have to CUT the carpet? I would really like to avoid that. Or do I just have to remove the screws to peel it back? From reading its a orange plug held by two screws correct?

I'm also doing this next week. I took the cover plate off but didn't see any orange plug. I made a resistor plug for the steering wheel airbag prior to reading and finding the 928 part number that deletes both airbags.
BTW, what wheel are ou installing?

I have installed that bridge. The hole in the carpet you see if an access panel. Look closely, there should be a single screw holding it on. One you remove it, you will have to remove the metal cover and there will be the airbag connection. You will have to brake a piece of plastic (bright orange) to remove it. Once you do, you plug in the bridge and you are good to go.

Alex,
Unscrew the screw you can see in the picture and the connector can then be pulled out enough to reach where the bridge gets plugged in. I am out of town, but will be back home for the rest of vacation late tonight and can pull it and take a picture or two for you later this week if you can't figure it out.
Good luck,

Sorry, but thats not my car, just a picture I found while searching online for the location of the plug.

One weird question is that there was this other unattached plug inside there, should it be attached to anywhere?

Yes, it is a C2, so that may be it.
Poor picture, looked better on my phone. I'l get good ones on a daytime drive. Looks much better in person, just need to create a horn button.
Trimming the steering column was the longest part of the whole install.

I really like getting the stock wheel out of there. It really does feel better with a good Momo.
