Default Any good recommendations on a porsche mag.

Anyone have a porsche mag subscription that they are especially pleased with and would recommend to more of the air-cooled enthusiast? Thanks

Excellence has long been a good Porsche magazine. Where are you located though? Some are far pricier of you're in the US and getting a UK based mag.

Excellence is the best, but the editor in chief has left, to work at Panorama.

Excellence pales in comparison to Total 911, GT Porsche and 911 and Porsche World. They are probably twice to three times as expensive as Excellence if you are in the USA, but they are well worth it.

Does Total 911 cater more toward newer 911s? I'd really like more of a classic, air-cooled slant. I'm not worried about the costs. I'm just curious. Thanks for any input.

Total 911 does indeed cater for air-cooled big time. Try and get recent (but not current) issue 92 - "The rise of the 964". Excellent articles always across varying levels of interest (sport, DIY, road trips etc)... One of the journalists used my car for a different feature recently in a different mag - Classic Cars.

Octane has a great issue this month dedicated to Porsches.

Do you guys know if it's possible to subscribe to Excellence online? I browsed their website but all I could find was a printable subscription form that you need to send by reglar mail. Not very handy for me being in Europe.. TIA

Excellence... by far... with 911 and Porsche World in second place, imho of course... never really got to like GT Porsche or Total 911 as much...

Don't judge them by their website... still lacks behind, but their publication is top notch.
