I prefer the polished rim on you colour car. I've got Cup 2s and I want to exactly that (on slate grey car).

Mate of mine has a yellow Boxster with black wheels, and has a thin yellow pin stripe going around the centre of the rim - they look awesome. So definitely worth a try.

Trying different combos is half the fun.
I vote all black, looks mean with that stunning blue body.

Regarding blue lines, I saw this at a Cars & Coffee event a while back. (different car, color, etc., but you get the point)

All black looks great, but like BU I'm biased!

Love the option 911Jetta proposed though.

Ok, am thinking of a compromise. Still polished rim as I am not sure all black works with Baltic Blue, but with a thinner edge...this also makes the wheels look like they fill the arches more than the original thicker polished edge.. what do you think?

I like it, but I t think I prefer the thicker polished edge

But why does it matter if it matter if it works with Baltic when your car is Cobalt?

not good .. full black is the way to go

the wheels don't have to fill the arches to look good ...

Based on your original pics and your wheel design, I prefer the polished rim look. All black, especially gloss black, looks a bit 'basic' (but on all black cars looks just fine)

Cream leather, nice darkish colour,,,
Polished rim ie nod to the fuch wheel of the past, all black if your lazy and cannot be arsed cleaning them.
Lighter coloured cars suit the black race wheel look,,but yeah need some large red calipers and fancy brakes behind them rims if yeah a racing man imho.

Hey but what do I know??????

Ps, Tornado red mk2 golfs rock....

First of all shame on you for not posting pictures of your car on the Cobalt thread. Secondly, all black is too much of a track rat look whereas the polished lip harkens back to the old days of the 911 where that was the factory look for oh, 30 years or so......
