My grilles fit standard engine lids, up to 1988 Carrera. I was not able to come up with a cost effective method of installing this type of grille on the stock 964 lid. The grille on the 964 is bonded into the spoiler frame and raising/lowering mounting brackets. I expect to modify the stock 964 grille would require machining of the stock grille out of the assembly and due to the shape of the grille...it would require some serious CNC work...i.E. mucho bucks. However, if there are mounting hole accessible, it may be possible to completely replace the entire spolier assembly with a perf grille.

Reflector grille
I've had a few peeps contact me for quotes for the 964 reflector grille. i have an earlier reflector grille and it is a simple flat (slightly curved) piece with 6 mounting bosses.....but, of course, the 964 is a different animal. Is it an "L" shaped extrusion? Is anyone willing to send me their reflector and/or some pix/dimensions of the reflector and the mounting area on their 964.......so i can understand the mounting and properly dimension the final part?
regards,
al

Three Wheelin'
I am really interested too,
I like the one in the red car and burgundy RW car with the red light in the middle , that could be the fog light , can be used on track if it rains , but also would like a reverse white light

Saw the thread this morning, and I really liked the concept so while I had a little break, I made a quick sample out of cardboard and some mesh I had laying around.
The mesh was super fine so you can't really see it in the pictures, too bad I didn't have a thicker one...
On this one I put the hood crest on and with some help of photoshop deleted the Carrera tag. I think it looks really mean and I like it.
I think I might pull the trigger and make the real deal. What do you guys think?

Like Al's work as well looks really good - may be interested in rear vent area after looking at what he does. Seems that this would be more of an additional air intake for the engine cooling fan than a vent -
I made my own rear rear engine grill with a little different flare - see pic's
A little pollen on the car as it is the yellow season down here in Georgia
