It's really simple to check for those metal brackets. Un-screw the three tabs on top of your center reflector, pull it out, and look. Take a photo and compare to the stock 964 metal brackets. Post here if not sure. I'm not sure how the metal bracks from the various short hood generations have changed over the years, but it's easy to do this quick comparison.
Thank you for the help. Here are some shots of the brackets. As the car came to me with the 964 conversion, I'm not certain if the brackets are factory standards on a 3.2 Carrera. I can't actually find a picture of them in the 3.2 Bentley Manual.
