The intake is a cast part so you need a heavy duty polisher for this. It is better to send it out. The afm is easier to polish since it has a smooth surface. Use 320,600,1000 grit and A polisher.

Thank you! I really don't know what to do next. Don't really want to do any performance upgrades until I know which direction ill go (supercharge, turbo, etc). Really want to do something that can pass emissions in ca but dunno if that's possible. For example we did a m3 swap that passes smog and BAR. That includes supercharger, chip, injectors, headers and exhaust!! Really hard to do with a 964.
