Default Narrow body mud flaps

I am looking to add mud flaps to my narrow bidy 964 to protect the paint. I am using spacers front a rear and the tires stick out a bit more than normal.

I found this thread on the 964 turbo forum.

https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=20817

Will the 3.6 turbo flaps from Porsche fit on the narrow body?

Does Porsche make any kind of rear flap?

I found the Mainely flaps. Anyone have any experience with these?

Thanks
John

How about finding a local clearbra shop to custom trim and install some protective film in the areas you're worried about?

That is my next option. I'm just not a fan of clear bra.

Their is one universal truth about mudflaps: It doesn't matter what car they are fitted to; no matter how beautiful; it will look completely **** after fitting.

Dont get me wrong their are certain flaps I like, just not mudflaps.

The talented clearbra guys can make the film look pretty seamless.

Both Cobalt and John Boggiano both have mud flaps.
Search Cobalt's treads...I think he installed front flats from a Turbo?

911 with mudflaps have you seen the ones on the turbo look completly out of place would rather respray the car, replace rear quarters and poke myself in the eye with a sharp object than fit mudflaps.

I`m not keen on them if i`m being honest

Hi there John (zero9nine) I will PM you with regard to John Boggiano's mud flaps. I have tried twice already to answer this thread and then after hitting the post button, got told that I was not able to post a reply! Brian

Done it. Almost invisible. helps tremendously in keeping the lower sides clean.

Thanks George. Wish they weren't $85 each.
