Default Front trunk dome light question.

How do you remove the trunk dome light? I tried prying it with a small screwdriver but it doesn’t seem to want to pop out like the interior dome lights. Also is there a light in the engine bay? BTW I did search this topic but couldn’t find an answer.
TIA

It pops out, there should be a small indent on the side you should pry from. Just work it a bit, it'll come out.

Yes, there is a light on the rear lid. It is the exact same light fixture and bulb as the front. It's right in the centerline of the car. It's probably hiding under a bunch of grime.

Thanks again Vandit. It did pop out and the bulb was missing. The rear light fixture was completely missing and the wires were tucked in the hole. I guess that why my dome light fuse would blow once in a while.

When you install the bulb in the front and the light in the back, make sure they switch off when you close the "hoods", if not you will have alarm and battery problems.
