I'm not 100 on this but I think the 964 is the only one with the antenna, also making it the more expensive glass. Other RLers might have more info on this.

The previous windshield in my car had the antenna in the glass but no black band. It was an O.E. glass manufactured by Sekrit.

It appears to be the right glass, just small. Will look at the Porsche seal when it gets here and see if the overlap may work. Will post pictures.

I got the Porsche seal version today. I was bummed to see that it looks very much like the OEM version that was already installed. Looks like the issue is an extremely small windshield. Looks like I may have to get another winshield after spending a small amount on one that does not fit.

Any update on the windshield install? I am having a hard time getting a windshield for my 1989 Cab which uses a 964 windshield with a trimless seal. So far I have had 2 companies including Safelite coming to install the windshields but the 4 corners were not completely covered.

FUCH

Thank you for posting measurements. If it was not a library pic on your computer you went to some effort to take pics. Imagine damaging the screen trying to help another member out on here.
It was a nice gesture well done !

Thanks from me too. We had problems with refitting the rear screen in my car, only to realise it is a 930 screen so I will be obtaining the correct seal

"seal"?
You mean correct screen?
A early 911 screen will fit with the early rubber.
Or a 64 screen with 64 rubber.

Sorry I meant rubber. Unless someone can sell me a 964 screen without a wiper hole for reasonable money?

Isn't there like a 4mm or so difference in size between the different model year windshield apertures?

Pass...but as Russ says above it can be done as I have put early glass/rubbers/trims in a 964 back date look car...singer do it on there's as a example...

Pics I posted was glass in my rack in unit so no glass was harmed in the process...lol.
