Typical Maintenance after X Miles
60k, 80k, 100k? Any big items that are TIME vs. MILEAGE?
I know it depends on the care of the car, but when should someone expect to replace things like:
- clutch
- shocks
- suspension bushings
- engine rebuild (very subjective, wondering highest miles w/o rebuild)
- trans
- fan bearing
- alternator
- injectors
- other

Do you have Adrian's book Mike? The full service schedule is in there in the Guide to Maintenance chapter. I thought that was posted on Rennlist somewhere as well.
Now these cars are hitting the 20 year mark so items have less to do with mileage than with age. In my 1991 C2, with 72k miles, that I want to turn into a daily driver, I am changing out brake lines, and closely inspecting all rubber oil hoses. I have no receipts indicating any of this was changed.
I sent the injectors out for cleaning, I am glad I did for peace of mind, but its clear from the before report that it really wasn't necessary. My fan bearing seemed fine as well but I did get a new one. I am changing caps and rotors at this point. My power steering belt looked fine as well but I am changing that.
I don't think engine rebuild time will come until 150k miles or so.

- clutch -> just replaced at 180' KMs with LWF. Clutch disc was still "ok" but oily
- shocks -> Coilovers installed at 170' KMs. It´s a must!
- suspension bushings -> complete refresh with coilovers (a must, too)!
- engine rebuild -> no. Still strong and not that "leaky" to throw the big money in...
- trans -> no
- fan bearing -> no
- alternator -> no
- injectors -> no
My fathers convertible has still all parts at the original standard except the bushings. They imporved the handling and the feeling extremly. His C2 has now 150' KMs...

I need to buy Adrian's book.
My '91 is my DD and I don't have enough records to know everything about it. I'm not sure when the last valve adjustment was and I hear a tiny bit of ticking when it idles but not sure what is normal. I'll probably just do it within the next 60 days. I will drive my '65 F250 more when the weather gets cooler (no a/c). A local guy has a scissor lift for sale which I plan to buy - that will help maintenance immensely.
I want to check the fan bearing and replace the belts. The oil line that runs from the filter to the tank is seeping so I'll replace that and the other inexpensive oil lines.
