Default Cup 1's refurbished (pics)..

Just picked them up and pleased with the overall quality and finish, I had them powder coated in the end. New tyres to fit this week and then out for a run at the weekend.

Not the best pics but you get the general idea.

Wheels look perfect, should make a nice addition

Anotherr easy job would be to sort the slight kink in your front bumper slats. Just search "964 smile" and get the clips bent down

Thanks guys I'm looking forward to getting the wheels on the car as for cost they were £160 plus vat which I thought was more than reasonable

Those look great! I picked up a used set this year that I want to get redone as well. I'm going to try some PlatiDip first to see if I want to go with Black or Silver. I'll likely use them that way for a DE this fall and then refurb them in the Spring.

Are those new Hankooks going on?

Yes Hal the Hankooks will be fitted later this week, based on (mostly) positive feedback from rennlist users I decided to give them a try.

£40 per wheel!

That is good (well compared to refurbishing Fuch wheels where the guys are charging £150- £200 per wheel + vat)

If anyone know where I can get Fuchs refurbished in the UK for a decent price would be interested to know.

Hi Digger...the wheels look fantastic! As you know, I am dealing with my suspension/tire issue...I'm not convinced that it is my tires yet...please give a report on how the Hankooks are working out for you; it would be very helpful! Did you go with the HD and H&R purple set up? What kind of roads do you have available to you where you live? Happy motoring!

Suspension ordered HD/purple or green but not arrived so still on the old stuff at the moment. Variety of roads available most in rubbish condition (potholes etc) but thats another story. Will let you know what first impressions are when the tyres are fitted.

964TOK,

The Wheel Specialist (TWS) was where I got my Cup 1's done: £70 a wheel and a great job (eventually, took 3 goes before I was happy with colour) - not sure what they'd charge for Fuchs but give them a go if you haven't already (no affiliation)
