Is anybody from the London 964 group thinking of going to the PCGB event this weekend? I was considering a Sunday drive up...

Forgot to get my camera out, after we left the row barge. Here is a nice sunny shot anyway - shame I haven't updated my watermark for august!!

Yep, I shall be there on Sunday as part of the small (3 car) display of 964's at the PCGB day - Come and say hello - as I don't know any of the London 964 Group as I've only just joined Rennlist and missed last weekend's meeting, which I will go to next time in September.

There is also a Classic Car show on Sunday 19th August, in Cranleigh. Great display, usually get in excess of 1500 cars each year.

I will be there with my car, and i am also helping on the gate for the morning, so if any of you guys want to come along, i should be able to get you in.

Oh, I hate clubs. Made to feel very welcome, even in a 993.

Excellent, in the true spirit of Groucho Marx, "I don't care to belong to any club that will have me as a member"

I went (and ran into Darren briefly), it was a great show, and had an epic drive on the way there. There were only a few Porsches, possibly because the PCGB event was on the same day (sorry no pics). Was definitely worth the drive and the £6, we should get a group together next year.

On the downside, someone backed into my car in the car park while I was in the show and left without identifying themselves. (It was almost certainly an SUV as I have a spare tyre-shaped dent in my bonnet, and there was a Toyota RAV4 parked in front of me when I pulled in). I've got a custom-made aluminium bonnet and fibreglass front end smashed and looking £1000s in damage - will be off the road for a bit...
