I could meet you in the Large Cinema/B&Q/Sainsbury carpark?
At the petrol station end...
Going to set off around 0930 so guess it'll be about 0945 by the time I get there.
Let me know if you decide to come along and I'll swing by?
You'll need to tell me what car to look out for though...
I'll check Rennlist before I leave![typing](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/yltype.gif)

Some nice kettles there & the silver 993 looks badass. Any idea what it's packin?
Looks like a pretty good turnout. My old heap has been SORN for the past few months & now at Redtek for overdue spa treatment but hoping to make the next one.

I thought I'd seen it before but I've got a memory like a sieve!! I don't remember the front splitter looking like that. Very nice anyway!
BTW, I never look in the mirrors apart from to check my hair!

Hopefully next time. The exhaust has taken a slightly different turn as I've found a slightly lighter readymade titanium option that should save me a bit of time ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
Just got to figure out the best way to make it work.

Sadly, I couldn't make it today - mainly as I am Fandango at the moment, as in Carless Fandango. Purple Enemy is up with Tom at Lemass where it is having a bare metal full exterior repaint - with a few of Tom's little tricks thrown in for good measure. I have given him creative carte blanche as I have absolute faith in his work. When it comes to 964 body and paint, I would not entrust the car to anyone else. He is so mad about Porsches, but specifically 964s that I know I don't have to talk to him - he already knows what is needed and what I am thinking, this is something very special - as half the time I haven't a clue myself. Anyway, PE is with him. I relayed the story about the fact PE was damaged in the NS rear quarter many years ago in an incident which involved Princess Diana and the paint match on the replacement quarter and blow in into the passenger door and NS window frame was a few shades out. This has always niggled me, as has the fact the rest of the paint - which was original - was getting tired. I never plan parting with the car, so felt making it perfect would be beneficial to the feng shui of my garage and also stop the irritation my minces were subjected to every time I looked at the car. Mr Tom Miyagi san has already schooled me in the way to wax on and wax off in preparation for the Return of Purple Enemy.
The BBS E28s are with a friend of his and are currently stripped down and being restored back to they way they should be.
As for today… I would have shown up in the white C4, but I couldn't as I haven't got it now. With the repaint, wheels, tyres, Matter cage and the monster service I just had done on PE by Carrera Performance - I couldn't afford to keep the white one. It remains in the fold though as my good friend Steve (who has turned up at our runs in the GT3, a C4, a Mustang, a 50's Beetle Convertible and probably other madness I can't remember) has it now.
It looks like we missed a top meet though (GUTTED) and I am sure it was a lot more fun than our day… We when to Arena Essex banger racing track for the NSRA hot rod swap meet. Row upon row of American car parts (mostly rusty) and Betty Boo wobbly head dashboard adornments. It is 45% scrapyard employee, 45% plastic 50's Teds living the Doo-Whop dream, and finally 10% banned breed dog baiter. I still can't understand the way they feel the need to dress like Eddie Cochran just because they like hot rods - after all why dress like someone who's been dead since 1960. Then again, in my opinion - you're better dead than a Ted!
The only good thing was that I came home with a pair of new 265/35 18 Bridgestone Potenza RE050s for £140!
Still - I'd have preferred to have spent the day with you!

Great to see everyone, some great cars there. Without wishing to spoil the purity of our 964 meets, I really do like seeing other cars there. Everything there was very nice, but i was really drooling over the 2.7RS and the 968CS was the nicest of its type that I've ever seen. And the Alpine was retro-awesome and fit with the rear-engined theme. Can't wait for summer!

My favourite of the day was also the 2.7RS ![bowdown](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/bowdown.gif)
Apparently Baff had only owned it for 24hrs...
The previous day he was testing it in a gravel car park, a la rally style and jumping it off grass mounds!!!
Refreshing to here of one being used and not just stored.
Cuse92, yours was my second favourite car of the day
