Would like to have made this, ,but
Car is in bits, with the front PU off etc,
Also in for a minor op tomorrow and dont think I will be able to drive for a few days at best
Look forward to the next one, Ive missed too many recently

A nice chap called Tony from bournemouth is now the proud owner.I told him about the meets and he is interested in coming along though the April one clashes with his sons birthday,so he won't make this one. hopefully we will see the car in the not to distant future. Those that thought my 964 sounded good,wait until you hear the 993!!!

I can not make Sunday sadly even though I will be in Weybridge but I will have been on the beer big time Saturday night so not safe to drive
Just a heads up the the 911UK Fairmile nights start again next Wednesday 17th @7 in the evening and as always you are all welcome
Format is cars/ food /911 banter till around 10ish there are about 20 of us so far turning up assorted Aircooled/Kettles/GT and TT cars as a rule and sometimes a few older cars

It's my son's last football match of the season on Sunday so I definitely won't be able to make the start of the run, but I might be able to make the pub car park and maybe lunch at 1.00, though the wee ones will be in tow. They are very cool however and love P cars as much as I do. The weather is supposed to be lovely so even if I make it just to meet you all that would be good. I'll defo be up for the full run in May. Hope to see you on Sunday.

I'm still good for Sunday baring only foul ups, the datsun may look a little ghetto though as I won't have put the interior back in after getting the cage welded in on Saturday!

Well at long last I've had my annoying alternator belt issue sorted. The car went in to Jez Parsons at Carrera Performance and had a new alternator fitted as the old one wasn't running true. This is why it's spun and shredded 8 belts in a year. I've been meaning to get it sorted out and I am very happy it is now done. I gave the little purple Doodlebug a good workout on the way home yesterday afternoon and although I tried my best, I couldn't get it to throw the belt.
Roll on Sunday. Let's hope the rain god oversleeps and the weather is nice, as I am trying to save wiper blade rubber having just forked out on the new alternator.
