hi Frank,
thx... I'm game for the matching belts, any suggestions or recommendations on where to acquire ? possibly without the hefty RS belt prices.. would be greatly appreciated.

I did know of one that was reasonably priced although can't remember the name However you could always give Southbound a call - I'm sure they would be able to help http://www.southboundtrimmers.com/

Did you rebuild your steering rack?? If so, were did you obtain seals and parts - ??
How hard would you rate the job ?? what special tools did you need ??

Touque: thx, those seats came off a 97 997 as far as i remember, i had the backs resprayed.

Gus: sadly, i didn't do any of the heavy mechanical work, alex tenner motors is our local porsche guru, I'm not confident enough nor do i have the tools to do this myself. the parts were sourced from fvd germany.iv never had any problems with any of their gear.

Swaini - thanks for the note back - I understand - know FVD well. Your car is really looking good - like the color choices and have enjoyed seeing it all come together. Really like the instrument color and the "correct" layout for the tach - Now all you need is the 200MPH / 320KPH Speedo. Here is a pic of my instruments - Are you in Dubai then ?? rather than Munich???
