993 top Vs. 964 top
I was doing some work on my Cab this winter replacing a bad gear in my latch motor
and when I went to put my top back up my rear window cracked in several places. ( I guess a 20 year old plastic window only lasts so long)
So I decided to upgrade my top a bit to the 993 top. I think it give it a little cleaner line. I know this is not for everyone so this is why I am posting some before and after shots to help others when they get in the same pickle.

After (needs a wash)

Nice work John, from the pix it looks like the only difference is a smaller plastic window with the 993, but I think the seams are different too. Can you please an post an after pic taken in brighter light? thanks

Hi John,
Superb example... looks great with either!!
I am looking at this job right now and my trimmer is pushing for the 993. Still undecided, head says 993 heart says 964..I think I'll flip a coin.
Thanks for taking the time to post!!

It looks like you add some additional rear blind spot area with the 993. That would be enough for me to keep the 964 top. Plus, I think the 964 version is more stately vs the more sleek 993, which match the body styles of the two. imho. You also lose the zip-out rear window with the 993 top.
