I've searched but have not found what I am experiencing. Under full acceleration the power gain from 3000 to 5000 rpm is huge. More pronounced in taller gears. Bought the car with a new rebuild ( documented ). Only has 6000 miles since. Starts first turn and runs great. This is my first 6 but I've driven earlier 911s and didn't feel this. Just curious.
